Christmas Day was an overwhelming day of present opening and excitement. We ended up opening gifts in 3 phases - stockings first thing before breakfast, then half of the tree gifts after breakfast, and we finished the tree gifts after a break during which Micah took a nap. As you can see, the kids found the box full of styrofoam to be a wonderful (and unexpected) gift :).
Miles's huge smile was when he learned that he could use the gift card from Uncle Brewster and Aunt Patty to buy any toy he wanted. Micah loved his push broom, and it continues to be a favorite toy. Near the end of the pictures you can see Grandad assembling the toolbox he made for Miles in Oklahoma and shipped to Kirkland for final assembly. In the last few pictures, you can see us taking turns stirring the yorkshire pudding.
