We had a really nice Thanksgiving at home this year. We hosted at our house, so we got to do lots of cooking which everyone here enjoys. On Thanksgiving morning, we discovered water standing on our back patio, so we headed outside (some of us in our jammies) to dig a trench to drain the water away from the house. The kids loved it. We stayed outside for a bit to clean up the deck, and then we headed in to warm up, do more cooking, and watch the Macy's parade and some footbal. Later in the day, Etienne, Nana and Grandad, and our friend Jeff all came over to help us celebrate. Our guests helped entertain the children while we waited for the turkey which was almost 2 hours late! After dinner, a few of us enjoyed a game of Pandemic. It was a good Thanksgiving.
