We had some excitement here at the end of October when Matt had wrist surgery. It turns out he has an extra long ulna, and the bone was rubbing against the cartilege between it and his wrist causing him pain. So the surgeon shortened the bone to help reduce the pain. Below are before and after shots from the surgery, a picture of the splint he wore for the first 2 weeks after the surgery, and then the cast he is still wearing - he gets that off this coming Wednesday, and he couldn't be more excited! Next up is a bunch of physical therapy, but then hopefully his arm/wrist will be better than they were before.

UPDATE: Matt took pictures of his cast removal! Very impressive.
